Grok Bot is awesome, but the rate limits suck. Here's a little trick that's totally legit: run Cursor, Grok Build, Codex, or Google's anti-gravity on Grok Bot's own Linux terminal so the coding work does not eat your usage.

Common Grok Bot questions

What is Grok Bot?

Grok Bot is xAI's agent app. Each bot runs on a cloud computer with its own browser and Linux terminal, so it can use connectors like Gmail, run scheduled routines, and keep working after my laptop is closed.

Is Grok Bot worth $300 a month?

Not if you are buying the subscription just for Grok Bot. I pay for the top plan and still hit weekly usage caps. The cloud computer is the most useful part, and it makes the most sense for someone who wants help with a podcast, website, or family calendar without running their own agent setup.

How do I get more Grok Bot usage without paying more?

Have Grok Bot hand coding work to Cursor, Grok Build, Codex, or Antigravity in its own Linux terminal. That work draws from those tools' allowances, so only the prompting comes out of your Grok Bot usage.

How should I organize my Grok bots?

Like an org chart. One chief of staff bot is the main interface, each project gets a lead bot, and shared specialist bots sit under the leads. The chief runs a scheduled standup with the leads in an all hands channel.

Can Grok Bot have its own email address?

Yes. I use Cloudflare Workers and a domain I own to give my bots receive-only addresses. Mail lands in one mail room and gets sorted into labeled slots, which keeps the bots out of my Gmail and keeps the setup portable if I switch tools.
