Set up a recurring local automation called "Storage health check."

Schedule
Every month on the first Saturday at 9:00 AM in the computer's local timezone.

Use these settings
- Operating system: macOS
- Expected drive size: 1 TB
- Keep at least 100 GB free, about 10% of the drive

On the first run, check the actual drive size and free space. If the drive is not 1 TB, say so and use the actual size on later checks.

Each time it runs
Check free space without opening file contents. Find the current user's home folder and the system drive instead of assuming a username, computer name, or drive letter.

Find the startup disk and its data volume. Do not assume a disk name or identifier.

Warn the user when free space drops below 100 GB. Mark it urgent below 50 GB.

Measure these folder sizes without opening their files. Skip any path that is not on this computer:
- ~/Library/Caches
- ~/Downloads
- ~/Documents
- ~/.codex
- ~/.cache
- ~/.npm
- ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs (iCloud Drive), if present

Also check:
- List local Time Machine snapshots when they are accessible without changing them.

Compare the numbers with the previous check. The first run becomes the baseline.

If the drive has enough free space and no folder grew a lot, give the user a short healthy report. If space is low or something grew a lot, show the three biggest folders worth checking. Include each folder's current size, how much it grew since the previous check, and ask which one the user wants to review.

Do not delete or move files. Do not clear caches, offload media, change applications, or ask for admin access. Treat project folders, synced files, and app data as important. Do not recommend cleaning them unless the user asks to review that folder. Ask before making any change.
