A public build log about a single day where Aaron Makelky covered three specialist jobs with off-the-shelf tools: making a motion graphic in Jitter from a template while the motion designer was on PTO (Descript reposted the result), pulling a livestream transcript through the Descript API to send a LinkedIn DM with the exact answer a viewer asked for, and running a full workshop follow-up inside Notion without Typeform, Zapier, or Mailchimp.
Build log summary
Three specialist jobs landed in one day. The motion designer was on PTO, so I built the piece in Jitter from a template and Descript posted it the same day. A livestream viewer asked what a PM said about a specific set of features, so I pulled the transcript through the Descript API, found the moment, and DM'd the answer back on LinkedIn. A workshop's follow-up needed custom replies based on each attendee's session feedback, so I ran the entire loop inside Notion: form, table, drafted replies, Notion Mail and Gmail drafts. No external SaaS.
